It's hard to believe I've been in Minnesota for 24 years already! I graduated from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and never left. I found friends, my wife, and a home in Minnesota. My wife, Marcia, and I moved to Lakeville in 2012 after we married and wanted to start a family. Lakeville has always had the reputation of being a great family city and the school system was highly regarded.
I currently own and operate a consulting firm that has worked for a variety of industrial clients over the last six years. We successfully managed through the pandemic, have completed projects in six countries on three continents, and continue to support a diverse mix of businesses. I have significance experience in collaboration, change management, stakeholder engagement, and driving operational improvements. As my kids get into sports, I’ve taken on the rewarding role of coaching for multiple teams. Additionally, I’ve supported the Special Olympics Minnesota Law Enforcement Torch Run for the past 24 years and volunteer in my children's classroom when possible.
My wife has been a kindergarten teacher in Burnsville since 2010. I understand the daily struggles teachers face and have a unique perspective on what drives academic achievement in the classroom. Her experience has shaped my perspective on what's important and needed for our children to be successful and productive people.
Now that we have two young kids starting their journey through Lakeville Schools, it's incredibly important to us that the district maintains a high level of excellence for the next decade plus. My two kids are the reason I'm running for school board. I want your vote and the opportunity to serve.
Together, we can make sure Lakeville Schools remain vibrant, successful, and a place where the next generation can thrive and reach their full potential.
